This verse has become my prayer for my family over the weekend...As I was quoting the book of Philippians (which I try to do once a week for upkeep), I "ran into a snag" when I got to chapter three verse three, which gives us three instructions involving all three persons of the Trinity :)
For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—If we are the circumcision (one of God's own people, accepted by God, revealing God's mark), we must take three actions:
- serve God by His Spirit
- boast in Christ Jesus
- put NO confidence in the flesh
Yes! Praying exactly this!
