Activities, besides the normal, during the month of April: The kids started doing yard work; Marshallese friends from Morganton come visit one evening; my mom visits for a few days to switch out kids’ clothes for warm weather; the big kids start a science project growing corn and beans; celebrated Ricky’s birthday at Dayspring; and, the kids participated in their first Field Day, put on by the local, homeschool PE group, and brought home a few ribbons ;)
School verses: Aolani and Micaiah — The kids finished memorizing the poem Paul Revere’s Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. (Watch them in the post below.)
